i have been ordering from Anastacia's Resteraunt for almost 7 years now and i have alyways been impressed with them.delivery is Always on time.I usually get the pizza or lasagna,like one poster said you can order one lasagna for 13 bucks and get a second for half price,so me and my girl can afford to eat for $20.chicken souvlaki is also delicion,just wish they seved greek potato with the souvlaki other than that one of our favorite resteraunts in surrey to dine
Four of us went for dinner last night and we all enjoyed our dinner. mThe service was grea. We have all been there many times and have always found it a great place to eat.
It has the best food and service! The prime rib is the best in BC, the seafood is to die for and the pizza...ohhh my god!! I think its one of the best restaurant in town! The service is friendly and the management is amazing. Maybe the decor is a bit outdated but its not something that bothers!
this restaurant has been family operated for years.. same owners.. I love the food... the prime rib is the best in town... knowing the owners and how hard they work during these troubled times in the restaurant business I take my hat off to them... they are trying their best to keep their head over water.. Great food.. fantastic Prices.. friendly girls..
Anastasias Restaurant has the BEST PIZZA EVER. I am reallllyy picky and its like the pizzas that were made back in the 70's . We order a large double cheese ham, pepperoni and mushroom everytime and its AMAZING. We get it to go -the decor in anastasias is a bit dated. Thank you Anastasias for making fantastic pizza. Cheers
I Have been going to this restaurant for many years , they have been going thru some staff in the past few years but they sure do have some great girls keeping up the great friendly service ! They have busy nights an they have slow nights but no matter how fast or maybe just a lil bit slow the food might come outta the back , you will never be disipointed )
i probabaly have around ten to twenty take out menus so i have ordered there quite a few times i would say,i usually get the chicken souvlaki which is the best in town(my opinoin),ive never had a problem with the food or delivery service,always fast and food always hot still,usually order a ham and pineapple or pepparoni pizza and it always makes the grade with me,you cant beat the deals with the lasagna eigther,i buy one for like 12 bux and the second is half price so a 12 buck lasagna and my girlfriend gets the second one and its under 20 bucks for us to eat quality food,everyone has different tastes and experiences but mine has always been pleasent

Sir,
It was rather sickening .,the way we were treated on New Years day.
Having eaten regularly with my family and my Seniors Dining Out group I expected the same good service that we are used to..
However on New Y ears day we came in at 6 00pm our appointment time . We were seated ok but then were neglected, kept waiting and not attended to for exactly 35 mins
A waiter then came and apologized stating that a waiter was not allocated for our table.
It was not at all busy , more than 50% of the tables were not occupied,and we did notice a couple of people leave as they must have been in the same predicament.
Our dinner was served at 0717 pm , an hour and 17 mins. After our arrival. and after all that waiting the food did not taste up to the usual quality . Needless to say that we were very disappointed.and frustrated and chose to go to another restaurant.
I was going to forget about the whole incident, but was obliged to mention this to our Seniors Dining O ut group,who insisted that we should bring this to your attention.

This place is an absolute joke. I have tried ordering from them twice now and they have over an hour delivery time. When the hour passes I call them and they tell me that they havnt sent it out for delivery yet. But I can hear them in the background saying they forgot to make it. If you cant do your job dont lie about it too. Shame on me for giving them a second chance, never again.
I don't get it! I continually read bad reviews for this restaurant. I have been to Anastasia Restaurant about 20 times and always have very good food. Large portions, good prices and excellent, friendly service. The salads are always crisp and fresh. The seafood linguini is a delight. Prime rib is superb. They also have an escargot special for $2.50 - and it is really good - covered in cheese!
Would not recommend this Restaurant to anyone. We as a couple & a another couple had 2- Prime Rib Dinner & Chicken Souvlaki & Seafood Dinner. all food was cold. Itcame back reheated % not what we ordered. Poor customer service. Waitress's Very rude. Not even a apoligy or can I some make you want to come back. I came for Valetines day A year and our Reservation was for 700pm we waited 1hr, I asked are host when are we going to be seated, she said whats your phone number, O we have someone at your table seated by accident. We didn't get seated until 900pm.
People eat right beside the one horrid washroom and the odors flow right out the door. It has no W/R with handicapped facilties. Dunno why they haven't been made to accommodate for the H/C people.
Very old and an undesireable area. Badly needs a makeover (for years).
Unbearably hot in the summer. Not even a fan, let alone A/C. Sweltering!
Food - ok, not special. Service - fair or less. Prices - fair.
I would sugggest prime rib or pizza.

I don't mind having my take a while for the food to come out - better than going to boston pizza and eating food that's just reheated with the exception of the dough that's prepared at 5am daily. Its good knowing my food is prepared when I order it. As far as the service - you're dealing with people - going to have good days and bad days- may be over staffed or under staffed - that's anywhere ya go. Trt take out - its perfect! Go home watch a movue with a bottle of wine and great food with great portion sizes. Infact I am getting take out tonight.
Hello everyone, I'm the manager at Anastasia's. This is the first time I've seen this review site and thought I'd offer my thoughts.
The restaurant Anastasia's has been in business for over 25 years. In the years we've been in business we've experienced many successes and failures both on the part of service, and food quality.
Our intention however has been to try out absolute best in providing everyone that dines with us with the utmost best quality service, food and atmosphere.
In reality, in this type of business, you can't satisfy everyone. All I can tell you more than 90% of our customers are repeat business. Over 79% of our new customers come from referrals(Yes we are paying attention) and we actually retain 73% of new customers as new business if they live near by.
I'm saying this to empress upon you that business is business, you're going to have your good days and your bad days. Although we are a little "old school" we still try to compete for your business by doing are absolute best. At the end of the day that's all you can ask for, a place where you can go, they'll get to know you and do the best they can to give you a pleasurable dining experience.
We have loyal customers that come in weekly, sometimes 2 to 3 times a week for years. You might ask yourself, the people that have had bad experiences may have caught us on a off day.
For those of you that have had a less than favorable experience, I don't blame you for your comments thoughts and reviews. I've read them all and rest assured that if you give us another chance you'll be more than happy and hopefully you too will become what we call a "regular" customer.
Ask anyone that is a "regular" at Anastasia's they have seen both bad and good.. However the good far out-weighs the bad and that's why they keep coming back! Be weary of the restaurant that says they are perfect, always... There is no such thing, and as an individual you know that to be true deep down inside..
Thanks for reading and hopefully those we've wronged will give us a chance to make things right. And if your reading this for the first time, well come on in, have what some might call the best prime-rib in BC. I promise we wont bite "At least not very hard! )"
The WORST restuarant I have ever had to endure for bad service. To the point where one person in our party did not get their dinner after waiting for 2 and a half hours. Another person ordered a Lamb Souvlaki and got Beef instead. The pita and garlic breads arrived AFTER the dinner was completed, and DRENCHED, in butter. The "GREEK" salad had no feta cheese in, just mozzarella. The rice was cold and hard. No one checked on our order after it had been delivered and the food was almost thrown off the plate when being delivered. The staff were all rude and unfriendly and made everyone in our group feel unwelcome! We won't be back!
Its weird how there are so many 1 STAR ratings and 5 STAR ratings. Almost like it is the restaurant putting in all the good reviews, vs. an who angry customer who keeps posting... I'm getting a bad vibe...
i have been to this restrant alot and so has alot of my familey and we have always had a great time and meal and in fact my sister in-law like a candle stand type thing they had and the owner gave it to her to take home..really a great value !! go get a great meal .
excellent food, atmosphere, and staff. truly an enjoyable time for all. we have had many different dishes at Anastasias and never once been disappointed. would highly recommend it.
Without a doubt, possibly the best value in this area. With these days of the $15.00 hamburger and you get a measly chunk of crappy meat this restaurant changes that and aims to please. Wonderfully prepared large portions of food (so big my daughter shared her meal with mom) and excellent service are the two main drawing cards however this place offers so much more. If you're looking for a great home-cooked meal, coupled with a family oriented environment then this is the place. It was truly a delight to be in a place that did not have loud blaring music, inexperienced under-aged staff screwing up your orders, and customers that have difficulty not spitting on the floor unlike some other places in Surrey. This place, quite simply, exudes class.
The sever was very friendly, however, service was very slow. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. My steak looked good, however it didn't taste right because it was burned on one side and the chef tried to hide it. I did n't wan't to return it because i didn't want to wait another 45 minutes. Too bad we won't be back, there's way to many other restaurants out there to deal with this again
Went to Anastasia Reaturant for the third time now and just wanted to say I had a woderful experience... The owners are very nice and old school. You can tell they put a lot of hard work and effort in that place... Unfortunetly our society is so spoiled with fast food and chained restaurants with millioms of dollars to back them up... I will be dining at Anastasias from now on the people were fantastic and the food was delicious..
Was there last week and witnessed the owner firing two employees for no reason, it was the worst experience of my life. I could not believe the foul language and the rude way he spoke to employees that work there. I will never go there again......
We've been to Anastasia's twice. The Prime Rib is THE best! Portions are huge! The first time the service was excellent - second time there we waited over 1 hour for our food. I highly recommend the restaurant - but would call first to see if they have any large parties attending - if so - don't go if not - go & enjoy.

Ordered pizza at 555pm and it finally arrived at 730pm..No call from them I had to call them twice and the best they could do was a credit for half the order next time. We have ordered from their for nine years..Shame on them I bet the folks in the restaurant aren't waiting that long..Terrible customer service..
I'm really sorry to hear that there's a negative post on this restaurant. I would like to tell you about our experience. We love the food, I usually get the Chicken Terriyaki stirfry or the Souvlaki Chicken. They make the best Tzatziki Sauce too. We've been fortunate to never have had a bad meal or bad service.
